Screwdriver Antenna Memory
Antenna Builders Resource

If you are an antenna manufacturer and want to know more information on how the SAM works and how it can be used to add value to your product, you have come to the right place.

We have a program called SAM READY. We have set up a web page with links to antenna manufacturers products that will operate with the SAM unit. We also provide information on this page about your company and if can provide antennas pre-built with the SAM sensor assembly installed. Many manufacturers are choosing to install it at the time they build the antenna and install the sensor on the inside (vs the the outside tube) to provide a clean installation.

We also have a dealer program that allows you to resell SAM units to your customers so you can provide a complete solution. We can provide OEM units where you perform the final assembly (ie: You install the pre-built boards into a case). With the OEM option you can order the cases with an area to print your own information. This allows you to have a personalized SAM unit labled with your own product name.

There are two issues related to the SAM and your antennas.
  1. Installing the SAM sensor at time of manufacture.
The SAM requires that a magnet be installed somewhere on the internal rotating shaft. This is used to trigger a sensor that must be mounted internally or externally so the magnet will activate the sensor only once per turn of the internal shaft. The location of the magnet and sensor is not important as long as the sensor will be "pulsed" or activated by the magnet once every turn.

  2. Aftermarket installation by your customers.
The main issue here is can your current customers install the magnet assembly into your antennas.
